Straighter, Stronger, Lighter

Only the best raw materials are used in GPB Nail-Lam columns, starting with #1 Southern Pine lumber for both treated and untreated portions of the column. The bottom treated part of the column is protected against rot, decay, and insect damage (.60 CCA; Also, .80 CCA is an option and carries the same warranty). The two boards are finger-jointed and glued together, ensuring a strong lasting joint. Our columns resist warping, twisting, or splitting, allowing easier finishing and framing. We are able to produce 3-ply, 4-ply, and even 5-ply 2×6 and 2×8 columns up to 40′.
